Betsy Frantz
President & CEO
Betsy Frantz has been the President and CEO of PathForward since 2020, leading the organization in its mission to end homelessness through innovative housing solutions. With over 30 years of executive experience, she excels in strategic planning, facilitation, fundraising, and organizational management.
Before joining PathForward, Frantz served as President of the Virginia Hospital Center Foundation, where she led a successful $26 million capital campaign. She was also the founding President/CEO of Leadership Center for Excellence (formerly Leadership Arlington), expanding it into a nationally recognized leadership development model.
Frantz’s leadership has earned her several prestigious awards, including the Emily DiCicco Humanitarian Award and the 2023 Virginia Women in Leadership Award. She is also a highly regarded speaker and consultant in leadership development.
Active in her community, Frantz serves on the Executive Committee of LEAD VA and the Arlington Chamber of Commerce Board. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from The College of William and Mary and lives in Arlington with her husband, Scott, and their yellow lab, Hadley. They have three grown children and two grandchildren that bring them tremendous joy.
