
Skye Donovan
Board Member, PathForward
Skye Donovan brings a dynamic blend of scientific expertise, clinical insight, and compassionate leadership to her role on the PathForward Board of Directors. A former college athlete, Skye thrives in motion, personally and professionally. She currently serves as the Dean of the College of Health and Education at Marymount University and as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the American Physical Therapy Association, which serves more than 250,000 physical therapists and students.
With a PhD in biochemistry and physiology and clinical credentials as an orthopedic specialist, Skye has built a distinguished 20-year career in higher education, advancing innovation and equity in healthcare. She is known for her strengths in relationship-building, strategic thinking, and maintaining optimism in the face of challenge.
Outside of work, Skye is deeply committed to service. She supports children with mobility challenges through the Go Baby Go program and provides physical therapy to underserved communities in rural Appalachia and Latin America. Her passion for forward momentum—and her belief that housing is a human right—makes her an invaluable advocate for PathForward’s mission.
