Larry Chattoo

Larry Chattoo serves as the Philanthropic Giving Strategy Executive supporting the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. Larry leads the philanthropic giving team and is responsible for driving innovative philanthropic initiatives. Larry previously created and served as Head of the Public Policy Analysis & Insights group. In this role, he advised executive leadership on complex legislative and regulatory issues and shaped enterprise-wide strategies on matters ranging from consumer finance to geopolitical risk. He was also an Associate General Counsel in the Legal Department assigned to various divisions throughout the company. He has served as the co-chair of the Military Support & Assistance Group Employee Network and co-chair of the Legal Department’s Pro Bono Committee. Earlier in his career, he practiced law at firms in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles, advising major financial institutions on consumer and mortgage banking regulations.

Larry earned his law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and his undergraduate degree in English from the College of William & Mary. A former U.S. Marine, he served with distinction as a noncommissioned officer during operations in the Persian Gulf.

He is licensed to practice law in California and the District of Columbia and currently serves on the Board of PathForward. Larry lives in Arlington, Virginia.
